For She

Night turns into midnight in our
Waning time together. We speak in
Disguise. Big goodbye encased in
Small talk.

I wanted more from you than
You could give me, and
I asked for it in the
Worst way.

You use to
Burn me to a
Crisp.

I miss the
Singe.
